It is an interesting point to note that our mind plays a major role in attracting and also repelling prosperity. Most of us seem to know this, but how many of us utilise this to their advantage? It is one of the simple things that are ignored by most of us. Can we be different from the crowd?
Let us see how easily we can use our mind to attract prosperity:
- Think of prosperity and abundance. There are times when you are challenged and at such times, you may not think abundance. How you think, when chips are down, determines how quickly you are going to bounce back. In such situations, there is a bright chance, you may develop self pity and that is enough make you remain a mediocre. If the going is not good, tell yourself, “This too shall pass.” Another point is to think big numbers always. In thinking of your bright future, why not think really big and leave the time frame of manifestation to the Universe?
- Speak only about prosperity. As Robert Kiyosaki beautifully says, “Words are free.” We have discussed the power of positive words in our recent blog, ‘Speak Positive words for prosperity’. A few points in the blog bear repeating. Our own words become message to our subconscious mind and hence the need for using positive words. Instead of saying , "I can’t", can you ask, "How can I?" and instead of saying, "Stock Market is risky", can you say, "I am going to understand how to manage the risk" and so on. Small shift in your language can make a huge difference to your life.
- Another important way you can use your mind to attract prosperity is to choose the right association. Once again, my mentor says, "Associate with right minded not like minded." When you are in the company of people who think, talk and breathe positive words and prosperity, your subconscious mind registers prosperity and abundance.
Of course, apart from thinking, speaking and associating, we need to take action. Every one of us needs to begin our actions using the principle, “The journey of a thousand mile begins with the first step.” As we keep moving, we need the guidance from our mentor to make it really big!
