Mentee: You seem to have a lot of humorous incidents involving food or eating. Can you recall one such incident?
Mentor: This incident took place, exactly thirty yeas back, when I began my career in a factory, situated about 15 kilo meters from my residence. There was no canteen and I used to carry my breakfast & lunch and leave my home by 6.15 a.m. One day, my mother gave me lemon rice for lunch. When I returned in the evening, my mother asked me whether I liked my lunch and I told her it was good.
Mentee: Where is the humour part in this?
Mentor: My mother revealed that she forgot to add lemon and it looked yellow because of the turmeric powder. Both of us started laughing. On the lighter side, it looked like my mother knew the medicinal value of turmeric powder as well as my strong appetite during lunch time.
Mentee: I can't believe that your appetite is stronger than your taste buds. I enjoyed this.
