Mentee: From the recent music season at Chennai, did you have any more humorous thoughts?
Mentor: Definitely, yes. I looked at all artistes who play GHATAM (pot shaped instrument made of mud). Interestingly, none of them had big bellies.
Mentee: Any particular reason?
Mentor: Possibly, they will not be able to rest the GHATAM on their belly, if that is also pot-size.
Mentee: I am able understand that if two pots are placed one on the other, the top pot will certainly fall down. May be that is the reason, most of the GHATAM artistes consciously try to reduce their tummies.
