Mentor: Without a shadow of doubt, yes. But in lighter vain, I will narrate an incident that took place at his school about 45 years back.
Mentee: Please go ahead.
Mentor: In the school Raghavan studied, his father also had studied. Even in the days when Raghavan's father studied, every teacher was nicknamed. So the nicknames of the teachers were passed on by the seniors to the juniors without fail.
Mentee: My God, it is too much.
Mentor: One day a teacher, by the nickname of Chameleon, told one of his students, 'Ask your father to meet me tomorrow'. The student went home and told his father, 'Tomorrow you need to meet Chameleon'. (The Mentor bursts into non-stop-laughter for five minutes).
Mentee: Even you are not able to control your laughter.
Mentor (recovering from the laughter): When the father reached the school the next morning, he realized that he had not got the real name of the teacher. He went and asked a teacher, "Please don't mistake. Can you please show me who is Chameleon?" It seemed the teacher replied, "You are already standing before that Chameleon". The Mentee starts laughing.
Mentor: Please view this incident only from the lighter side of life. I need not tell you that teachers are to be respected as they play a great role in building our nation by laying a great foundation for their students.
